This module supports various transmission distances, ranging from hundreds of meters to tens of kilometers, depending on the type of patch cord used. For example, the 2.5G multimode optical module can be paired with OM2 patch cords, achieving a maximum transmission distance of up to 500m. On the other hand, the 2.5G single-mode optical module can be paired with OS2 single-mode patch cords, achieving a maximum transmission distance of up to 160km.
